This is me

Nice chap, been around a while now, had a few adventures....

I've worked in private and public sector organisations, run my own business as a writer / producer / director of corporate and training materials in all traditional media; even won a few awards along the way.

And about halfway through the journey - to my family and friends' consternation - I decided to follow a lifelong secret dream and train as an actor. Since then, I have never been busier, happier or poorer in my whole life. Not much I'd change about that. But feel free to do what you can about the last one.

It's taken me to places I otherwise wouldn't have been (have YOU ever had a snooze on a Holby City bed?), it's introduced me to people and creatures I'd never have met (have YOU ever shaken Basil Brush's paw while hearing yourself say "nice to meet you, Mr. Brush"?), and it's given me opportunities to work in tv and film, small-scale, regional, touring, open-air and immersive theatre, stand-up comedy, impro, voice acting, voiceovers, computer games I'll never understand... and any number of other genres I hadn't even known existed until the phone rang one day.

And that's what this site is about. Just that. If you'd like to know more about when I was a village bobby or a mobile DJ, let's have a coffee some time...
